Carl Zapffe has been a civil litigation attorney for over twelve years. He began his legal career at one of the busiest litigation firms in the entire state of New Jersey, where he quickly became one of the firm’s lead trial attorneys. In his first several years alone, he racked up an astonishing 1,000 trial court appearances, and quickly developed an outstanding reputation for his relentless work ethic, and his thorough and well-reasoned style of advocacy.
Additionally, various aspects of his personality—most notably, his rigorous researching skills, his outstanding brief-writing abilities, and his exceptional courtroom demeanor—made him an ideal fit for appellate and federal work, which requires different set of skills than standard trial work, due to its more formal nature, and its strict and unrelenting rules and deadlines. Therefore, in addition to the trial work described above, he took over as his firm’s sole appellate and federal attorney, a position where he has excelled and has achieved an impressive track record, representing a multitude of clients all over the country.
He has now taken these skills and has opened his own firm, The Law Office of Carl E. Zapffe, Esq., where he continues his focus on civil litigation (both in state and federal court), and appellate work. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as a myriad of federal courts throughout the country. Therefore, if you have a litigation matter and are in need of a dedicated, experienced, and well-respected attorney to represent you, feel free to contact our office to discuss your situation.
